As you all know, true friends are hard to come by so I made a list of Bible verses about friendship to help us all learn about the importance of friends. Over the years I have made some true and dear friends and avoided a few that didn’t have my best interest at heart. I hope this list of Bible verses about friends will help you both learn how to be a true friend and how to discern whether a person is a true friend and in the process gain the friendship of others.

Proverbs 27:17
17 As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend.

James 2:23
