1 out of every 4 Christians in the world attend Pentecostal or Charismatic churches. All of these churches or church groups believe in the present day operation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Yet the truth is that many of these same churches deny the gifts’ operation in their meetings and services. The Holy Spirit is embraced in their word and doctrine but rejected in demonstration. This causes me great concern. How is it that people can mentally ascribe to a theological position and yet reject the practice of these gifts within their church walls or within the life of the members of their churches. Here are 3 reasons I believe that this has came about.
