Some of you may not know this, but at one time, during my long hair days, I was a Christian musician who played bass guitar for a couple of bands. Because of that, Christian music is somewhat one of my passions. So I thought, I would share with you my top 10 all time favorite songs. Remember to turn off the music at the bottom of this page before you start watching the videos.
#1 Larry Norman. Many consider him to be the father of Christian Rock and Roll. I had the opportunity to be in the band that opened for him at Easthill Church in Gresham Oregon.
#2 Keith Green. By far one of the most influential musicians in my own life spiritually. He was a prophetic voice to the church that was taken way too young in my opinion.
#3 Randy Stonehill. A true songwriter and who was able to put to music, songs of the heart.
#4 Resurrection (Rez) band. One of the first Christian metal bands. I saw them in concert in 1980. We packed 8 guys in a 63 Nova SS. 3 in the front. 3 in the back and 2 in the trunk!
#5 There ain’t no grave. This song was the first southern gospel song I ever heard. It was my uncle’s favorite song and wanted it sung at his funeral.
#6 Darrell Mansfield Band. I was asked one time to fill in for his bass player when he got sick at the last minute.
#7 Your Beloved by Vineyard Music. This song was introduced to me at a time where I suffered the greatest rejection I have ever suffered in my life. It had torn me to the very depths of my soul. I went to church and the worship team played this song for the very first time.
#8 Robin Marks When it’s all been said and done. This song came to me the same time God affirmed my call to pastor even though I am divorced. It spoke my heart’s desire. I have requested that my kids play this song when my day arrives to go be with Jesus.
#9 Mercy Me. I can only imagine. This song so describes my own thoughts about what that day will be like when I see both my best friend, and Lord.
#10. Selah. Broken Road. This song has always been a song personal between me and Jesus, because it is the song that I hope to sing when He brings me the lady He has chosen for me.
Well I hope you have both learned a little more about me, and also enjoyed these videos!
God bless you all for supporting me and this ministry.

I would also recommend the Larnell Harris and Sandi Patti duet “I’ve Just Seen Jesus”. It’s beautiful, classic.
I have out of the ordinary and eclectic tastes. Glad you enjoyed them!
Now that is something to think about?
It is neat to learn about new-to-me artists. Thank you for sharing this music.
