Favorite Bible Verses From My Facebook Friends and Fans

We all have favorite Bible verses. I have listed quite a few of my personal ones in my Bible verses by topics. However lately I have wanted to get more interaction between the readers of this blog and myself so I asked all my friends and fans on Facebook what their favorite Bible verses were and these are the ones that they posted. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have and that you will share below what your favorite Bible verses are and pass these great bible verses on to your friends as well.

Stephanie Franklin who I think personally is a real sweetheart gives a few favorite Bible verses here. She has an online business helping business promote themselves. You can look her up at Prosperity Promotions. Here is her favorite bible verses.

Jeremiah 29:11

11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.

She says it is her favorite because “it expounds of the fact that I was created with purpose and God cares about every aspect of my life.”

and

Isaiah 40:31

31 But those who trust in the Lord will find new strength.They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary.They will walk and not faint.

It is another favorite of hers because “God is the wind beneath my wings..the Holy Spirit allows me to soar …He gently guides me..so that when I am in alignment with God’s will , life is effortless”

Marni Arnold who has been a guest blogger on this website with her article called Learning to Give Thanks and has an excellent website of her own called Relevant Brokeness shares this Bible verse as her favorite.

Lamentations 3:40

40 Instead, let us test and examine our ways. Let us turn back to the Lord.

She states that it is her favorite Bible verse  because our lives, in all it’s good and bad, need to be examined in our hearts and minds…and slammed up against the truth of God so we can always know the value of truth versus a lie; in turn, giving us full opportunity to walk in Truth (Christ).

Deb Mullins Cleankut who lives near me in Moorcroft Wyoming and runs a business called Tomboy Tools shares this Bible verse with us.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

She says “When my body is worn out, my soul is weary with grief, my mind is overwhelmed, and I am sure I can not endure one more thing,,, when I can no longer even find the strength to pray, when I don’t understand the why, when I want to scream, when I want to hide away from the world, when I think I no longer to have the strength to even pray…..when I don’t know where to turn, when I don’t know the purpose, when I can’t seem to find my way, when I think I can no longer find the words to pray..I can stand on His promise in Phillipines 4:13 and feel Christ give me the strength to get through one more thing. Kathleen Porter shares with us her favorite Bible verse out of the Psalms

PS 37:4 Delight thyself in the Lord and He will give thee the desires of thine heart

She states that it is her favorite because of the “2-fold promise.. FIRST when God is the delight of our lives He will plant the right desire in our heart.. THEN He can fulfill them.”

Tom George who has become a delightful friend of mine is a fellow webmaster who runs the popular website Internet Billboards shares that Romans 12 is his favorite bible verses.

A Living Sacrifice to God

Corey Mainz shares Psalm 23:4 as her favorite bible verse.

Psalm 23:4.. Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.

She says the reason it is her favorite is “I do not fear much and DEATH is nothing but my passing from this temporary place to my permanent home which I will welcome when the time comes”

An awesome brother in the Lord who I have come to know and respect in the last year as we connected in the group Christian Blog Crawl is Mikel Del Rosario who is an accomplished Christian speaker on Apologetics.  He has an awesome blog called The Apologetics Guy. He shares 1 Peter 3:15 as his favorite bible verse.

1 Peter 3:15

15 Instead, you must worship Christ as Lord of your life. And if someone asks about your Christian hope, always be ready to explain it.

Jan Renee’ who is a beautiful woman of God with a heart of worship and has the blog called Riverbank Reflections shares this verse as her favorite bible verse.

 Psalm 149:3 “Let them praise His name with dancing…!

She says “I find it incredible that God invites our exuberant praise. And that in that place of worship, we can find Him to be all that we need.”

He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear, and put their trust in the Lord.

Jalet Farrell who is one of my oldest friends going way back to high school (I should have cleaned my car better and maybe we would have had more than one date! LOL) shares this as her favorite Bible verse.

Psalms 121. I lift my eyes up to the mountains, from where my help comes from. It comes from you Lord, maker of heaven, creator of the earth.
