Easter is one of my favorite Christian holidays. I have put together a list of some of my favorite Easter songs that will hopefully reflect the true meaning of Easter. Easter is the celebration of the resurrection of our precious Lord and Savior Jesus. It is the celebration of hope. It is the celebration of new life. It is the celebration of our most basic tenet of our Christian faith. If it was not for the resurrection of Jesus we would not be able to be born again, walk in intimate relationship with our heavenly Father, or have the blessed hope of eternal life in heaven. So here are a few suggestions of Easter songs for you to use in your own resurrection Sunday church service.
Easter Songs for your Resurrection Sunday service
As you plan your Easter church service, I hope you use some of my selections but please use them as the Lord leads you. I am in no way trying to tell you what to do, but only suggestion some of the songs and hymns that have blessed me and my congregations over the years.

I hope you have enjoyed these Easter songs and videos for your resurrection Sunday church service. I can’t help but reflect on all that Jesus did for us on the cross and then how He changed and resurrected the life of a 16 yr old kid who so needed a savior. Now at almost 50 years that same kid still needs and cherishes the personal one on one relationship that I have had with Jesus over the years. I hope that these Easter songs and hymns have reminded you of the same thing.
